School Improvement
Expert consultancy services for schools, offering strategic support for school improvement, dealing with inspections, curriculum development, and policy implementation.
Working with schools to address the needs of SEND and EAL pupils through observations, questionnaires, quantitive and qualitative data collection, interpretation and providing ideas for action. Each school will receive a written action report. After which we can return to the school to support with follow up from the action received.
Ability to review current policies on SEND/EAL and assessment with strategies for improving.
Parent Consultations
Specialised support for parents of students for whom English is an additional language or have SEND Needs. We provide tailored strategies to boost language acquisition and academic success. Along with strategies for supporting SEND students to be used in the classroom. Furthermore we can support parents with ideas for routines in the home and supporting homework and GCSE and other examination preparation. This consultation can be an initial meeting at home followed-up by a report to share with schools. We are also able to sign-post families to Local Authorities for ideas on supporting at home. We can also provide support for home-educated learners.
Teacher Training
Professional development workshops for teachers, focusing on innovative teaching methods, classroom management, and inclusive education practices.
Workshops can include:
EBSA Children in the mainstream classroom and managing pupils on part-time timetables.
EAL Teaching Strategies.
Understanding and developing in school assessments e.g. GL Assessments and coming up with an action plan.
Supporting SEND Staff with completing form 8/9s for GCSE Examinations.
